Blackbirdebooks started out 2 years ago as a self-publishing platform for my own books. With PR, SEO and editorial input it has now grown into a digital publisher which sources, edits and promotes other writers as well. Two mid-list authors have published new ebook and POD titles with us and we have several projects in development. As with most anything to do with digital publishing there's been a large element of making it up as we go along. Rather than following any traditional publishing set-up, it looks like we're developing more along the lines of an authors' collective.
