Charles Kriel was raised on the circus, criss-crossing America in makeup and big shoes.
He is MD of 12 Stories Tall, an indie mobile publishing and consulting group. He writes fiction and nonfiction, and is represented by The Gernert Company. He recently wrote and produced two children's book apps -- Handmade Mother Goose HD and A Bear Ate All The Brussels Sprouts.His last four apps have gone Top 20 in their category.
In a former life, he was BBC Radio 1’s Resident Artist and DVJ, a Pioneer ProDJ, the UN’s UK National Expert in New Media, and an exhibiting artist at Tate Britain and the Venice Biennale.
